Your files never leave your browser

Celtrim reads and renders your spreadsheet entirely on your device, using JavaScript running in your browser. The file you open, and the cells you select, are never uploaded to a server — we have no copy of them and can't see them.

What we count

Anonymous usage statistics through PostHog, hosted in the EU: the pages viewed, the referring site, which tool was used, how many rows the result had, whether it worked, and the error message when it did not. This tells us which files break a tool so we can fix it. No profile is built for you.

We don't use advertising cookies or create accounts, and we don't collect spreadsheet contents, file names, or exported images. The statistics keep a random visitor ID in your browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time.

Hosting logs

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep basic server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability purposes. These logs are not linked to spreadsheet contents, since that data is never sent to us.
